Nachi Cocom Beach is a very quiet, secluded beach located just past Mr Sanchos Beach on the hotel side of the island. It is a bit of a ride to get out there from town, but it is worth it. It is best to rent a car. That way you can go and return to town whenever you wish. Don't forget to take your snorkel gear with you.
The beach facilities include an abundance of beach chairs and reclining chairs for your enjoyment. There are also plenty of umbrellas so you can get out of the Caribbean sun once in a while to avoid any serious burn or dehydration.

There are huge palapas to get under for a break from the sun when you are ready for lunch. There is also a rental shop there next to the restaurant where you can get masks, fins, snorkel, etc. in case you forgot yours. And for the more adventurous, there are jet skis and kayaks for rent.

There is a pier where the snorkeling and diving boats come and go several times a day. You can arrange trips there at the rental shop as well as scuba lessons. They have everything you might need.

Here is a warning to the fair-skined people. The sun can be very intense so be sure to have that sun block handy. You do not want to ruin your holiday by getting a really bad sunburn.

And now, as far as the restaurant is concerned, WOW, such great food! I love their fried fish fillet with garlic. So tastee!! But, of course, they have many other things to choose from. You can eat in the open air palapa restaurant, or they will serve you right there on the breach. Now that is nice too.

The ocean water feels so good, but if you are not into all that salt, how about a swim in the pool. And there is a small jacuzzi at the corner of the pool.

There is a swim-up bar at the end of the pool as well as having plenty of seating under a giant palapa for your dining and drinking pleasure.



And for the guys, there are an abundance of lovely ladies in bikinis that will knock your socks off. The Caribbean sun brings out the sun worshipers. And ladies, I am sure you will see something you like also.





All in all, Nachi Cocom is a wonderful place to spend a day. You can swim, dive, snorkel, eat, or just be lazy. It is a fantastic beach and I bet it will like it as well too.
Just head south, out of town. Watch the signs and watch for the Nachi-Cocom entrance. Have fun !!
